The Persian word „Yadgari“ in Georgian leguide

Abstract
Borrowing words is a normal phenomenon in languages. It characterizes all languages, including the Georgian language, in which there are many examples of loanwords. A large amount of Persian vocabulary has entered the Georgian language, which has been established very easily. Among the lexical units that have come from the Persian language, one of such words is the word “Yadgar”. This word in the Georgian language is called a monument of ancient Georgian literature. This word refers to the centuries-old liturgical collection of the Georgian Church. This event turned out to be noteworthy in its own history. In the article, we will review the ways in which this term entered the Georgian language and the reasons for its establishment.
