Main Article Content
Abstract
The paper emphasizes that the contemporary military affaire are inconceivable without the integral role of science. Technological progress, innovative research, and interdisciplinary expertise fundamentally shape the development of armed forces and the enhancement of national defense capabilities. Scientific inquiry underpins the formulation of new strategic approaches, the advancement of intelligence and cybersecurity systems, and the modernization of weaponry and information infrastructures.
A particularly significant aspect is the integration of military science with related fields– such as engineering, computer science, psychology and geopolitics, which enables the development of comprehensive, multi-layered solutions. In the twenty-fires century, military affairs have evolved into a knowledge-driven domain in which scientific research and analytical methodolologies constitute not only the driving force of technological innovation but also a critical source of strategic superiority. Accordingly, the role of science in the military sphere today is understood as a fundamental element of ensuring national security, fostering defense innovation and supporting global stability.
The paper emphasizes that science has consistently been a decisive factor in determining defence capabilities and overall security of a state. The author underscores that historically, military technologies have served as one of the primary drivers of scientific progress and innovation.
