tion of the armed forces. Sights and clashes in the distant past have shown us that strikes from long distances have a significant advantage. From here came a universal idea that refers to shooting different objects from a distance to each other in order to kill or mutilate. The path of the development of artillery involves several stages, which led to the development of technology in parallel. An analysis of the peculiarities of combat shows that the role of artillery in subsequent conflicts will increase even more. Most countries still view artillery as one of the main means of firing attack, the use of which does not depend on weather, day section and terrain. Artillery is one of the oldest and most basic guards of ground troops, it is the main striking core of the modern armed forces. Artillery has a wide variety of classifications according to its combat purpose, weapons types and organizational structure. Artillery represents artillery units, parts and subdivisions that are organized into the operational unit, common troop unit, In parts and subdivisions or the reserve of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. Artillery is distinguished as ground troop artillery and naval artillery. Ground artillery is divided into: according to combat properties – horrific, hoax, reactive, anti-tank, mining and mortar; According to the means of movement – self-propelled, towed, transported, rail, pallet and stationary. According to the peculiarities of the structures of the artillery systems, angular barrel, smoothbore, non-perverse, reactive, Casemate and universal artillery are separated. Artillery armaments feature calls of various calibers, howitzers, zarbazan-howitzers and howitzers, mortars, anti-tank launchers and salvage fire jet system combat vehicles.
